About

"The past contains our history, the present is where we live it, and the future is what it will become." — Seneca

At Chilean Militaria, we work to preserve, study, and share Chile’s military history through authentic items, carefully selected and properly documented.

Chile’s history—from Independence and the consolidation of the Republic, through the War of the Pacific and into the events of the 20th century—has left behind a remarkable material legacy. Every object, whether a medal, insignia, uniform, saber, document, or field gear, is a direct testimony of the people and events that shaped our national identity

These items are not just antiques: they are fragments of memory. They speak of sacrifice, challenges, progress, and transformation. Historical collecting invites us to rediscover the past through tangible traces—an adventure through stories and characters often forgotten by time.

Our Story

Founded in 2017, Chilean Militaria was born from a lifelong passion for Chilean military history, heritage research, and the preservation of historical artifacts. As the son and grandson of military men, the founder grew up surrounded by stories, traditions, and a deep respect for service—developing a strong interest in military history from childhood. Over the years, that passion turned into dedicated study in uniformology, insignias, decorations, and military equipment. Today, Chilean Militaria is recognized by collectors, museums, and researchers in Chile and abroad as a trusted source of authentic, well-documented historical pieces.
